Science Careers - Biotechnology
Natural Science is a title included in the four-part DVD series "Science Careers: Discover Your Future." The Title V Retooling Science team collaborated with the School of Entertainment and Design Technology (SEDT) at MDC North Campus to develop a four-part DVD series titled "Science Careers: Discover Your Future," and accompanying student booklet to spark student interest in the sciences. The Retooling Science team worked with film professor Dr. Mario Beguiristain and his students in this production. The DVD series includes the following titles: Natural Sciences (14 min.) Biotechnology (11 min.) Plant Science & Aquaculture (11 min.) Ciencias Naturales (Spanish -- 20 min.) The video includes interviews with professionals in the science fields, MDC North Campus science faculty, local high school teachers, as well as students interested in pursuing the many exciting science careers in the future!
